This superb trike is fitted with the Casarva Shaft Drive Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) trike conversion. A Casarva Elite Reverse gearbox is also fitted. This means there are no areas you can ride in to that you cannot easily ride out of. So you can effortlessly deal with high kerbs, cambers and steep driveways. It works using the engines power to pass through a manually selected reverse gear.
To make steering lighter it has custom made raked fork yokes, and a custom routed twin Casarva stainless twin exhaust, rerouted underneath to bottom wishbones.
Alloy wheels – Avus Multi-spoke silver alloys (which are a good match to the front wheel), have mudguards painted in the same russet red of the donor bike. The conversion steelwork is in 1.25\” diameter steel tubes (the same as the bike\’s frame and is blasted, zinc primed and powder coated in black to match the bike\’s
Casarva IRS (independent Rear Suspension) trikes handle better and are more comfortable to ride than those with a solid axles. Tyres stay planted in the road surface giving you maximum control if the road gets a little tricky. How? Because each side has its own suspension system which are connected by an anti-roll bar (ARB) made in spring steel. The ARB assists the shock absorbers in keeping the rear end planted, reduces rider shock.
The drive line – chain, belt or shaft – has a differential which allows the wheels to turn independently of each. Half shafts are tailor made to each trike. There\’s track width options too. With all these options and more each trike is custom built to meet the owners needs.
